In some situations, the visible resources are temporarily incapacitated (e.g. machine in maintenance)
This option makes it possible to keep the resource visible, but to exclude it from APS optimization over the period in which it has been “locked.”
This option is particularly useful for scheduling processing for “closed” tasks such as holidays or employee illness or absence.
