The “Use scheduled dates as launch dates” option allows you to set the scheduled date of the task as the desired start date for optimization, instead of its creation date.
This is a critical setting. This box is useful to check for APS processing in cases where the schedule is staggered, and thus optimization must take into account the Gantt schedule’s dates, rather than the dates on which a task was created.
